About Odalis
Odalis joined the roofing industry almost 8 months ago and has been working for HER Roofing ever since as the office manager. Helping people has always been Odalis’s passion, whether it was volunteering at a free clinic to interpret for Spanish speakers, to volunteering at retirement homes to help senior citizens with dementia, Odalis has always had a passion to help people. Working at HER has given her the opportunity to help homeowners get a quality roof or gutters they deserve. Although she did not have any experience in roofing, she did help run and manage her parents’ Landscaping business and she also has a lot of people in her life that work in construction.
Odalis went to High School in Tualatin, OR, and graduated 6 months earlier than her class of 2020. Straight after graduating high school, she became a Teacher Assistant and then moved on to become a dental assistant in 2020.
In 2024, she was looking for a different work environment, one that would lift her a person and get new opportunities. She is now working to get her associate degree in general studies.

What Odalis Can Do for You
My responsibilities as an office manager at HER Roofing are taking calls and scheduling people according to their roofing needs i.e., roof repair, roof maintenance, roof replacement, gutter replacement. I answer emails and oversee the office email. I coordinate appointments and schedules and manage the estimators calendar. I keep track of payments and follow up with homeowners. I specialize in communication, organization and administration.
Honest, Equality and Respect. The HER philosophy truly is the main reason why I decided to work here. I believe that if these are implemented in any kind of work environment all workers will thrive. Of course, that is not all I believe, I was taught that one should always take pride in joy in what they do. I am happy to say that I am extremely proud working for a business that respects their employees and treats them not just as employees, but as humans. I have seen first hand how much attention to detail and dedication this business has put in for their homeowners.
Associations
Outside of various local community memberships, Odalis is also apart of the National Women in Roofing (NWiR).
With Her Free Time…
Outside of work you can find Odalis fishing, camping, bicycling or cuddling with her cats! As well as spending time with her family, whether that is playing card or dice games, or going to the park. She loves anything that involves having to use your hands like embroidering, water painting, and baking.

The salesperson explained every detail clearly and supported her recommendations with video documentation from my roof. They install all products according to the manufacturers specifications, which means that they are not the cheapest option. But I’ve seen the damage caused by cutting corners, so I know that this does not save money in the long run! Of course we encountered unexpected challenges along the way, and I was grateful for the clear communication and problem solving. Roofing is noisy and dirty work, and the crew worked l-o-n-g days, almost 12 hours. Even so, they took the time to leave my yard *spotless* at the end of every single day. (They use magnets to pick up fallen nails!) This meant that it was safe for my dog to use the yard in the evenings, which made my life a lot easier. All around, top notch work.”

“Very professional. Project was completed in the estimated time and close to the estimated amount. I especially appreciated the extra time they spent explaining a few items to me during the quoting process. We had a hole patched from a metal smoke stack as well as a couple other concerns taken care of, the riff matches so well it is hard to tell there is a patch. I will be calling them when it is time for a full repair.”
